WaterStreet Foundation provides grant awards to organizations who have tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status and whose primary mission is dedicated to child and adult educational enrichment, child or family focused health care initiatives, and family and community based social service programs.
The Foundation does not support:Review Process
Applications are accepted year round and are scheduled for review based on the order in which they are received. The Board of Directors reviews applications at its quarterly meetings, generally held in March, June, September, and December.
Organizations are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible in the quarter to allow for timely review by the Foundation board prior to board meetings. The Foundation will acknowledge receipt of grant applications as quickly as possible, usually within two weeks, and applicants will be advised if any further information is required. Applicants can expect responses within two weeks following the board meeting at which the grant is reviewed.
All foundations chosen by the Board of Directors to receive an award will be required to provide the documentation listed below and a final report within 60 days of their fiscal year end which outlines the use of the funds. WaterStreet Foundation Board Members may request onsite visits of the organization's facility prior to issuing the grant award.
